About a decade or so ago, S. Renee Mitchell put the bug in my ear to record my content. She was working with students at Humboldt School, where my mom was principal at the time and offered me some free advice as an up and coming writer. Fast forward to 2021 and I can’t help but kick myself for not listening to her sooner.
