With that in mind, when I meet those doing this not just for the right reasons, but effectively and with an intentionality that centers those most marginalized, it makes my day. Alexis Braly James is one of those people. The CEO and founder of Construct the Present, she even brings intentionality into her away-from-the-office emails, directly calling out artificial urgency as a tool of white supremacy.
