I had the pleasure of participating in the premier and panel discussion for “Being Me in the Current America”, a short film about playwright Josie Seid’s real life experience with the Lake Oswego police. The panel was moderated by Shelley B. Shelley and also included Seid, Shareen Jacobs (who plays Seid in the film) and Bernette Jenkins-Pleas, who co-chairs LO for LOve, a partner organization to Respond to Racism LO.
